Joey Logano Paves Way To Victory In Kansas

It was an ending you don't see quite that often; Joey Logano got fed up with Matt Kenseth holding the top spot and simply saw it fit to move Kenseth out of the way.

After winning last week, Logano guaranteed a spot in the next round of the Chase for the Sprint Cup. Matt Kenseth was giving a full effort to earn one of the eight chances to move on, and those hopes were dampened as Logano saw it fit to spin Kenseth in the waning laps.

Call it good, tough racing, call it cheap; it was what it was and Logano earned the W. It does indeed suck for Kenseth was fought well and hard all day, yet couldn't hold off the 22, who was pressing hard with a better car. Kenseth ended up with a 14th-place finish.

Denny Hamlin, Jimmie Johnson, Kasey Kahne, and Kyle Busch rounded out the top five.

Next week, it's on to the one and only Talladega Superspeedway.
