At last year's FMX Big Purple Party Skid Row was a huge hit among the crowd in attendance. But after 15 years vocalist Johnny Solinger has decided to part ways with Skid Row.

In a statement posted on his personal Facebook Page Johnny Solinger posted:

I have decided to leave Skid Row to pursue my solo career. The past 15 years has been a great experience and I have appreciated the opportunity to be the lead singer in one of the most prominent bands of the 1990's and share stages with the likes of Aerosmith, Bon Jovi and KISS performing in front of millions throughout the world. I wish Skid Row the best of luck in their future pursuits. \m/

When I interviewed Johnny Solinger after their set at The FMX Big Purple Party I was surprised and I really don't know why I was but just at the fact at how cool Johnny Solinger was. He came right up to the interview table and knocked out one of my all time favorite live concert interviews of all time.

I wish Johnny Solinger the best in his solo career and the best in whatever else the future holds for Johnny Solinger.
