Johnny Winter Dead At 70

Johnny "Guitar" Winter has passed.  For blues fans, this is a huge loss.  Some of you don't even know who he was, but he was the brother of Edgar Winter who recorded the classic instrumental track "Frankenstein".

Johnny was much more than a brother. He was one of the most respected blues players ever.  It also made things a bit odd, because Johnny was an albino (which made him REALLY stick out in certain situations). Johnny played some scorching guitar.  I hope you'll take just a few minutes to check out some of his fretwork.

Johnny talks most of the way through this interview but at the end he picks up a slide and plays some real devil music.
