Denny Hamlin was on mission Sunday in New Hampshire as he dominated a majority of the LENOX Industrial Tools 301, but a late pit decision would cost him a chance at the win.

Kasey Kahne would take advantage of the decision by Hamlin to take four tires instead of make a two tire change with sixty-six laps to go, and Kahne held off Hamlin to capture his first victory at the New Hamphire Motor Speedway.

The win was Kahne's second of the year as a member of Hendrick Motorsports, and moved him into twelfth place with seven races to go in the Race for the Chase.

Jeff Gordon finished sixth.

The series moves to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in two weeks, for the Crown Royal "Your Hero's Name Here" 400.
