I don't even know what made me think of this nugget from the past, but I just blasted it and it holds up pretty well. Back in the day Sabbath held down the dark side and Blue Oyster Cult came along with themes of magic and sci-fi. In simpler terms, Black Sabbath sang about witches and Blue Oyster Cult sang about Wizards.  Black Sabbath was about the depths of hell, Blue Oyster Cult was about black holes.  More after the jump.

You've heard the classic "Don't Fear The Reaper" and probably "Burning for You" and "Cities On Flame".  this particular track was one of my favorites and features a ton of metal riffs that any guitarist would slobber over.  Put on some headphones and enjoy this track from "Cultosaurus Erectus" called, "Black Blade"
