L.I.S.D. Teacher Arrested For Pot

How do you know you're getting good pot? A science teacher grows it (allegedly).  KCBD is reporting that Lubbock police were able to make a couple of buys within the last month and took the teacher into custody today.  It's not all fun and games though, CPS had to be called to take care of the teachers children.  More, including a light-hearted video after the jump.

No one is reporting that the teacher sold the weed to any students and the guy wasn't dealing on the street corners.  He's a teacher who probably just lost his career in order to make a few extra bucks.  Even as a non-smoker, I have a hard time justifying multiple visits to the guys home, an arrest and trial, possible jail time and displacement of the kids for a guy who was selling some homegrown.  The "war on drugs" is silly, expensive and hurtful.  On the other hand, the guy was a teacher, he should have known better.
