Lace ‘Em Up To Fight Breast Cancer At The 20th Annual Lubbock Area Susan G. Komen Race For The Cure

Get ready to lace up those running shoes for the 20th annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure set for October 4, 2014.

The 2014 Komen Race for the Cure is a healthy way to do your part in the fight against breast cancer.

The event will feature the Live It Up Expo: which offers education on breast cancer, the survivors breakfast, entertainment, and of course the 5k and 1 mile race for the cure.

According to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, there will 232,670 new cases of invasive breast cancer among U.S. women in 2014. Although breast cancer in men is rare; 2,360 new cases will be diagnosed this year alone.

Grab some friends, get signed up, and make plans to run in the 20th annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center.
