Lady Raiders Defeat TCU, Candi Whitaker Gets 100th Win

Senior leader Kelsi Baker led Texas Tech's Lady Raider basketball team to its first conference win in two years, as head coach Candi Whitaker hit the century mark in wins for her career Sunday afternoon.

Baker got plenty of help from freshman Dayo Olabode, who registered a double-double, her third of the young season. The two accounted for 31 of the team's 52, as the final from United Supermarkets Arena was 52-37.

The Lady Raiders notched their 11th win this season, snapping a conference drought of 20 contests.

Next up for Tech is a road trip to Oklahoma State, who is nationally ranked #18, on Wednesday night.
