Hell yes, there's a conspiracy going on. It's a conspiracy for you to visit sketchy websites that play to your confirmation bias.

There is this thing called, "Occams Razor". The easiest translation is: when you have two competing theories that make exactly the same predictions, the simpler one is the better. Meaning the simplest explanation is usually the best.

The simplest explanations for Vegas massacre was a lone misanthrope decided to kill a bunch of people. Done.

So why do people want to believe there were multiple shooters? Well, most likely they don't want to believe that a guy that looks like their drunk uncle or grandpa could do this kind of thing. The shooters own brother believes that he had the intelligence and skill to pull this off, even if he doesn't know why he did it.

So what about those "muzzle flashes" from the 4th floor? It's plainly a blinking light. Anyone with half a brain could tell it's too consistent to be gunfire.

So how did the lone gunman break out those hurricane proof hotel windows to open fire? Well, let's take a wild guess here, maybe he SHOT them out?

So how did he carry all those guns upstairs? Experts say it's easy, as hotels don't have metal detectors (but they probably will after this). Let's also say that this guy was seen as a high roller in Vegas and having ten suitcases taken to a suite is not unusual in the least.

But why does one witness-victim look like a witness-victim from another tragedy? Okay, now you've stepped into the weirdville that is called "crisis actors". The fact is, all of these have been debunked before.  Also, people look alike. Here's a great story on FIVE actors from the same t.v. show that could pass for one another.

Now let's look at some broader things. You know how many times these conspiracy theory sites have broken a news story wide open? Zero is your answer. And exactly why would an entire police department lie about how many shooters there were? You do know that you can listen to their actual radio conversations, don't you?

Now, let's get down to some real logic. What possible reason would anyone involved in this situation have to lie? Some say it's to start a new civil war, yet there's no manifesto and no political affiliation by the shooter (this also means it's correct to call him a "spree killer" because a "terrorist" does things for political or religious reasons). Maybe you think this was staged so that guns will be banned. Okay, well we all know that isn't going to happen, so we can toss that theory too.

I'm sure ballistics could prove the angle of the shots, but even then, there will be a person or two who were lying down, crouched, running or in some position that would make the doubters doubt what happened. It's not worth it to the families to prove it to conspiracy theorists either.

So all of this brings us back to Occam's Razor. The simplest explanation here is that you are being used by sketchy websites for cheap web hits. They are your true enemy and you should fight back at every turn by reporting their fake stories that cheapen the deaths of these 58 people and cheapen the heroism of the people and police that saved lives in Las Vegas.

I would like to note that my intent isn't to embarrass anyone, or call them stupid. The folks that produce this stuff are experts at manipulating your point of view and a reasonable amount of skepticism is always healthy. If you'd like to donate to the families of the victims, you can do so here.
