I've probably bored you with my "logical fallacies" before, but I'm going to make this much simpler. No matter what side you are on, you should learn to argue if you expect to be taken seriously.  It really comes down to just to two steps.

So, if you're reading this, you've probably had more than a few dust ups on the internet. If you expect to be taken seriously, you really only need to do two things.

1. Watch Your Grammar.

Sorry, but if you have frequent misspellings or other grammar errors, you will not be taken seriously.

2. Stay On Point.

The biggest problem people have is altering the topic or turning it into a personal attack. If you are arguing that red jello is better than blue jello, you don't bring purple jello into the discussion and you don't say "you suck so that proves red jello is better".

That's really all there is to it. I've already seen so many people weighing in on the Presidential debates and they can't seem to focus on their point. Calling someone a "libtard" or comparing a candidate to a "Nazi", only shows that you are unable to make your original point.  Add some misspellings to that and it doesn't matter how smart you really are, you've lost any chance of making a point.
