Let Purple Reign — Wear Purple to Work This Friday in Honor of Prince
Prince was an important part of the history of FMX. His "Purple Rain" album dominated our airwaves. He was just that huge. So we want to remember him.
Music used to be a bit more accepting of other genres. We were even the first to play Run DMC just because no one knew what else to do at the time. There's also the fact that we've been your "purple spot" for quite some time now.
So, what's the best way to honor Prince? I think we should all wear purple to work on Friday. Let's just fill Lubbock with purple. How cool would that be if you saw people on the street that you didn't even know wearing purple?
Prince is purple. FMX is purple. Let's fill the town with purple this Friday.
