Life of Agony have revealed details on their first album in nearly a dozen years. A Place Where There's No More Pain will be released April 28 via Napalm Records.

Bassist Alan Robert says, "We're in the final stages of mixing the album with our producer and then we head into mastering sessions with Ted Jensen (Alice in Chains, Machine Head, Deftones) at Sterling Sound, NYC. This record is a monster and we're so psyched to finally share it come April."

Robert continues, "It's got such an energy to it. Raging guitar riffs, heartfelt lyrics and killer grooves. We definitely turned things up a few notches in 2017 and it feels great. And I gotta say, we've never been so focused as a band. Before we even wrote the first note, we all knew what kind of record we wanted to make. You can hear that drive and intensity in the tracks and you can feel the momentum building."

They'll be hitting the road for a handful of shows in support of the disc, beginning April 27 in Allston, Mass. Check out all dates below. Life of Agony have also announced the "Calling From the Underground" unsigned band contest, with the best unsigned band in the tri-state area opening their April 28 show in New York.

Life of Agony's last studio album was 2005's Broken Valley. They have broken up and reunited a couple times over the years, with the latest reunion in 2014. Their current lineup includes vocalist Mina Caputo, bassist Alan Robert, guitarist Joey Z. and drummer Sal Abruscato.
