Lubbock Musicians Chosen to Play On Stage With Disturbed
Holy Guacamole! What do you do when a big time band calls you to play with them on stage? Myself, I'd probably pee myself a little.
Two Lubbock musicians have been given the opportunity to play on stage in Midland with Disturbed.
Stacy Stephenson plays viola and violin, and her cousin Madeline Garcia plays cello.
The girls got the call to make a quick trip to Midland to join Disturbed on stage. They will no doubt be sitting in for a little "The Sound of Silence."
This isn't the ladies' first venture with rock stardom either. They have also played with Trans-Siberian Orchestra and other productions.
When not rockin' out, Stacy plays professionally in area orchestras, string quartets and even a mariachi band (as well as teaching middle school PE.) Madeline is a TTU Music Major and cellist with the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra.
Let's wish these ladies luck as they rock out and represent the Hub City this Tuesday night!
