Lubbock Media Ignores President Obama’s Message

If you truly want to stay ignorant, the best thing you can do is not participate. Sunday night, President Obama addressed the nation for only the seventh time, but the story was buried by local TV and newspaper.

It doesn't matter what you think of the president. I would think you would want to know what is going on with your country. Heck, I'd think you'd want to know what the plans are just so you can oppose them.

Yet, the local media seems to not want to deal with the story that is on the front page of USA Today, CNN and every other major publication out there.

Maybe they know best and just defer this type of news to the 'majors.' Personally, I find it a little amateurish that they'd skip it. We sit on the verge of World War III with terror strikes everywhere and we ignore the leader of the free world? It's no wonder nothing ever gets done.
