There's disturbing news to report involving disgraced rocker Ian Watkins, former singer of UK rock group Lostprophets and convicted pedophile. He apparently has been "grooming" a young mother from prison, according the The Sun.

Watkins is currently serving a 35-year sentence for unspeakable sex crimes that included underage victims. The woman in question apparently initially met Watkins when she was 16, and is now 21 (Watkins is age 40). The Sun reports that she began a correspondence with Watkins during his imprisonment, exchanging letters with the singer. She also began to visit him, and admitted during one of her visits that he made a disturbing comment about her 2-year-old child. He reportedly asked her what she would do if her daughter "came into the room during sex."

She'd later tell a friend she felt "scared" from Watkins comments, but insisted "I won't let my daughter near him." In December, she had her phone and laptop taken away from her by police, and her child was taken from her care. However, she continued to visit Watkins in January, telling him what happened. She showed up to visit in March with a ring she bought, which he suggested could act as "an engagement ring" between the two.

In 2013, Watkins received a 35-year sentence for multiple charges of child sex crimes. Watkins pleaded guilty to a total of 13 charges including two counts of attempted rape and a count of sexual assault of a child under 13. One of the children in question was less than a year old.
