Early Voting starts Tuesday, February 16 for the 2016 Texas Primary Elections, and it will conclude on Friday, February 26. Election Day is Tuesday, March 1.

Texas Republican and Democrat voters will be voting for a presidential nominee, along with various state offices, including judges and representatives. Republican voters in the 19th Congressional District will decide upon a potential replacement for Congressman Randy Neugebauer.

During Early Voting, there will be over 10 different vote centers open in Lubbock County. Voters will have to present of photo ID when at the vote center. Voters residing in other Texas counties will also be able to participate in Early Voting. Check with your County Clerk's office for specific locations.

The main Lubbock County locations open everyday of Early Voting are: Lubbock County Elections Office at 1308 Crickets Avenue, eight different United Supermarkets locations, Texas Tech Student Recreation Center, Slaton ISD Administration Office, the Idalou Clubhouse, the Shallowater Community Center, and the Roosevelt Clubhouse.

The eight United Supermarkets locations open for Early Voting are: 2630 Parkway Drive, 4425 19th Street (19th & Quaker Ave) Market Street, 112 N University Ave- Amigos, 2703 82nd Street (82nd & Boston Ave), 401 Slide Road (4th & Slide Road), 8010 Frankford Avenue (82nd & Frankford Ave) 1701 50th Street (50th & Ave Q),4205 98th Street (98th & Quaker Ave) Market Street.

The United locations, Lubbock County Elections Office, Texas Tech Rec. Center, and Slaton ISD Administration Office will be open each day of Early Voting from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m., except for Sunday, February 21 when they will be open from 1 - 6 p.m.

The Idalou Clubhouse, Roosevelt Clubhouse and Shallowater Community Center will be open for Early Voting on weekdays, and Saturday, from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. and closed on Sunday.
