Wanna see some of the worst of Lubbock? Just look no further than your local Facebook comment board.

On Thursday (June 9), FMX, along with other local media sources, posted a picture of a local business that displayed the f-word on its business sign. Since it supports their political views, it's all of a sudden okay to display this crudity near a public road.

Lets get something straight here. This profanity-laden sign isn't on a radio station you tune into. It's not in a movie you pay money to see. It's not in a private conversation that you are part of. It's not on TV set during cartoons. It's right next to a road where anyone who looks up can see it. Fortunately, it's on a seldom-traveled road.

Now, at this point in this blog, it's important for me to tell you that I deleted a bunch of text. I was about to call out some of the trolls that, hilariously, spoke out in support of this crudity. I've changed my mind. I'll let haters make me famous, but I'm not going to give them any attention. Instead, I want to give kudos to our listeners who responded with logic, humor and insight.

Let's get started.

Brandon does what comedians call a "call back" to Lubbock's Arabic banner embarrassment.

Adam, you naughty boy! You used the bad word. But guess what, folks? He didn't use it on a public road. He, as Melissa said, used it on our site, where people have to come out of their way to see it.

Aaron gets it. Turn it on the radio and we're rocking. The RockShow spent 15 seconds on this story, and that was it. (I really like my joke that this is the political equivalent of a baby writing on a wall with their own crap. We know you're trying to tell us something, but it's still crap.)

What a good dude. He doesn't even get involved, he just stays positive.

The same goes for Jesse.

You listeners are awesome. You are the reason we do what we do. You understand that digital and on-air are different animals. You understand that not everything has to be ugly. You're the guys and gals I love to party with and make jokes for every morning.  You guys be awesome to each other!
