Lubbock Gets Ready To Squeeze It This Saturday For Lemonade Day

On Saturday, May 3rd, the city of Lubbock will host the 3rd Lubbock Lemonade Day to promote entrepreneurship for kiddos across the South Plains.

This event offers kids the opportunity to experience what it takes to own and operate a business of their own.

The goal this year is to create over 800 new businesses (lemonade stands) right here in the Hub City in one day.

These young business owners get to keep what they earn, with many donating their profits to local charities.

School of Rock Lubbock will host Lubbock Lemonade Day from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. with performances from the SOR bands and of course tasty lemonade.

Proceeds will help defray expenses for SOR Lubbock to make the trip to Milwaukee, WI for the National  Music competition.
