Check it out, the Christmas Season is upon us and with that comes all kinds of parties, celebrations, displays, and traditions. This weekend the Hub City is bustling with Holiday activities so plan your route, grab your sweetheart and hit the streets to catch one or all of these cool ways to usher in the season!

First head out to the Miracle Parade on 34th, it starts at Coronado High School (6 p.m.) and will head east on 34th to Boston Ave.

This is a Toys For Tots event so take a new unwrapped toy and hand it off to one of the Marines who will be walking the parade route collecting toys.

Also, check out the Lubbock marching band that will be representing Lubbock in the Rose Bowl Parade (at least Lubbock will be involved in a College Bowl in someway!).

Next  6-9 p.m. Candlelight at the Ranch at the Texas Tech Ranching Heritage Center (3121 4th Street)

Then hit Santa Land out in MacKenzie State Park on just east of Ave. A on Broadway (east of the fair grounds you can't miss it look for the HUGE Christmas tree)

After you check out the sights and sounds there and visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus head over to Vintage Township on 114 east of Quaker and check out the cool lights, carriage rides, hot chocolate, and snow..... yes I said snow!

Th end your night by going out to Ransom Canyon and check out the awesome lights.

I'm telling you guys if this does not get you a pass on all relationship activities on Sunday then you are seriously doing something wrong!
