Holy moly!  Lubbock has come out on the wrong side of another national list.  This time it's the most dangerous cities.

Forbes Magazine took the statistics for four types of crimes: Murder and non-negligent manslaughter, forcible rape, robbery and aggravated assault. It shook those up in a Yahtzee cup and bam! Lubbock comes up number six in the nation!

Now let's add in the fact that CNBC said Lubbock was at number ten in the list of "most dangerous to drive in" and you've got two hot steaming piles of death waiting for you! Lubbock clocked in with 808 violent crimes per 100,000 people.

Who thought that the Hub could be a final destination? Who knew the South Plains could be worse than cities like Houston, or Hollywood, or New York?

Somebody needs to send this to the Chamber of Commerce, they might need to put some type of positive spin on this one!
