Lubbock Laugh Off Returns To Bigger Venue

The fastest night of comedy returns, this time to World Of Beer

We are re-launching "Lono's Laugh Off" as the "Lubbock Laugh Off" this Friday night. After three standing room only nights, we have moved up to a room twice the size. We bill this show as "two hours of comedy in about 40 minutes".  We bring together six comedians in a comedy competition that is fast and furious. It's really kind of simple. We have six comedian and six rounds. In the first round, the comedians perform three minutes of their standup material  The best in this round is awarded two points.  In the middle rounds the comedian much immediately comes up with 30 seconds worth of material based on the host's suggestions. These rounds are worth one point. Finally, all the comedians are brought back to the stage for a riotous roast of each other. The winner of this round wins one point.  The winner of the night takes home our amazing second-hand traveling trophy and gets to do some headline comedy at our next event.

I am your host for this event and I can testify that in the past the comedy has left me gasping for air.  We will get underway at about 9:00p and will have a winner announcement by 10:00p.  Make plans to come out early and grab a good seat. World Of Beer is in the new West End Shopping Center which is just a cool place to hang out.
