Lubbock Man Charged With Aggravated Assault After Shooting His Brother
As of Monday evening, 27-year-old Michael Wayne Sawyer, remains in custody at the Lubbock County Jail after shooting his brother during a disagreement.
The argument occurred Sunday night. KAMC News reports Michael Sawyer shot his brother, 26-year-old Tony Sawyer, at the Westfork Mobile Home Park, located at Bradley Street and North Quaker Avenue.
Tony Sawyer was shot in the ankle and suffered non life-threatening injuries.
The dispute occurred after the younger Sawyer allegedly drove his brother's pickup truck without permission.
Michael Sawyer has been charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and his bond has been set at $50,000.
