A federal grand jury on Wednesday (August 8) indicted a Lubbock man for possession with intent to distribution over 500 grams of methamphetamine.

KAMC News reports 35 year-old Anthony Rincon Gonzalez was arrested on July 18th after a Texas DPS officer found him in a suspicious vehicle in the 5000 block of Avenue Q where he fled, crashing into a fence at the 1400 block of 47th Street. Gonzalez was arrested along with two minors.

Gonzalez faces a long list of federal and state charges including possession of a controlled substance, tampering with evidence, evading law enforcement, and money laundering to name a few. He was previously arrested on burglary and animal cruelty charges.

Gonzalez remains booked in the Lubbock County Jail and would have to post bond of more than $280,000 to be released.
