Lubbock Ranks As America’s #3 Windiest City, Amarillo Blows Harder

The Weather Channel just released it's list of America's windiest cities.  Lubbock only took the bronze this time around. Our neighbors to the north took the top prize, which means it's a worse place to live than previously thought.  C'mon...I'm joking because I love!

Amarillo clocked in with average wind speeds of 13.6 miles per hour.  Coming in second at 12.6 miles per hour Rochester Minnesota also blows.  Lubbock's average wind speed is just 12.4 miles per hour.  Wanna guess what the windiest month in Lubbock is?  April. Yeah, no crap.  Somehow I think after this year we make take top prize in the next survey.
