Two days. Hundreds of phone calls. And a Texas-sized helping of generosity. Lonestar 99.5 FM's 2015 St. Jude radiothon has come to an end with an amazing final tally.

Bonnie Holman from St. Jude Children's Research Hospital made the big reveal on air with Lonestar 99.5 personalities Jacqui Neal and Doug Brannson, and Townsquare Media Lubbock Operations Manager Jave Patterson.

Listeners from Lubbock and surrounding areas donated a total of $28, 215!

The reveal was truly a magical moment and indicative of Texas kindness and generosity.

From all of us at Lonestar 99.5 FM and on behalf of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, we'd like to thank every single person who became a Partner in Hope and otherwise donated to help benefit the hospital.

Additionally, the radiothon wouldn't have been possible without our dedicated and passionate local volunteers from Gamma Chi Lubbock. The group represents Epsilon Sigma Alpha International, which has supported St. Jude Children's Research Hospital projects for 43 years and helped raise over $190 million.

The volunteers are: Darla Schitoskey, Judy van Gilder, Sandra Barnett, Jan Marthinsen, Sarah Fox, Jan Watts and Pearl Renfro.

Lastly, special thanks to our Phone Bank sponsor Matador Motors and Toteboard sponsor Forrest Tire.

Thanks again to all who donated their time and hard-earned money for this great cause.

For those who still want to donate but missed the chance to do so during the radiothon, you can still call 1-800-795-1800 through Monday, March 9.  After that day, you can visit St. Jude's official website for other donation options and more information.
