Lubbock’s Ten Most Wanted Bands According to Our Facebook Fans [VIDEO]

Osama bin Laden, America’s former most wanted terrorist, was killed in a Navy Seals raid in Pakistan. The U.S. has now updated their top ten most wanted terrorist list with his death. That got us to thinking here at FMX. Who are the ten most wanted bands here in Lubbock?

We polled you, our Facebook fans, earlier this week and got a huge response on who you guys want to see. So without further ado, here are the ten most wanted bands here in the city of Lubbock according to you, our FMX listeners and fans.

10. Linkin Park

Linkin Park kicks off our list of most wanted bands. We still like their music, but it doesn’t have that same feeling as it used to. They still put on one hell of a show though. Check the out in this video for “Crawling.”

9. System of a Down

Coming in at #9 is System of a Down. They haven’t done much in the way of new music since they went on hiatus in 2006. Good news though, they have gotten back together and are looking to tour. How about a pit stop in Lubbock? Check out their video for “Question!”

System Of A Down – “Question!”

8. Rob Zombie

It’s been a while since Zombie has done a show in Lubbock. Maybe it’s about time he came back and rocked the Hub City again. Check out Zombie in his video for “Demonoid Phenomenon.”

7. Mudvayne

Mudvayne has headlined a concert or two in Lubbock before but it’s been a couple of years. A couple of years is too long to go without being back in Lubbock. Get back here Mudvayne and get back quick. Check out their video for “Did.”

Mudvayne – “Dig”

6. Lamb Of God

Lamb of God destroyed Lubbock a few years ago when they came with GWAR. It’s about time they destroyed it again. I was a little bummed they didn’t do more moshing for the show last time. Think we can fix that? Check out Lamb of God’s video for “Ruin.”

5. Foo Fighters

I don’t think these guys have ever been to Lubbock. I can’t remember past a couple of years though thanks to drinking. Maybe it’s time Grohl and company made it down to the Hub and show them what they have been missing all these years. Check out the video for the Foo Fighters’ song “Long Road To Ruin.”

4. Godsmack

It’s been waaaay too long since Godsmack has made an appearance in the Hub. Maybe that could all change in the future. If we win the lottery, we’ll bring Godsmack and a couple other of these bands on the list. We promise. Check out Godsmack’s video for “Cryin’ Like A Bitch!!”

3. Metallica

I really thought these guys would be the top spot but they at least made the top three. The lineup may have changed a few times over their career but they can still melt faces after all these years. Metallica annihilated Lubbock last time they came and it’s bout time they did it again. Check out this live performance of “Master of Puppets.”

2. Tool

Maynard stays busy with Tool, A Perfect Circle and sometimes Puscifer. Right now he is touring with A Perfect Circle but that doesn’t mean he can’t bring Tool to the good ol’ 806. Check out Tool’s video for “Stinkfist.”

1. SLIPKNOT

Slipknot was voted by you, the fans of FMX, the most wanted band for Lubbock. Nuff said. Check out a live performance of “Wait and Bleed” below.
