Machine Head Psych Fans Up for 2012 North American Tour

After successfully unleashing their signature brand of thrash and groove metal throughout Europe, Machine Head are ready to unleash the locusts in the North American leg of ‘The Eighth Plague’ tour. The band will be joined on the road by deathcore act Suicide Silence and metalcore outfit Darkest Hour.

Following the completion of the European leg of the tour with support acts Bring Me the Horizon, DevilDriver and Darkest Hour in early December, Machine Head are ready to hit the road once again. The month-long North American tour cycle will cover the majority of the U.S. and parts of Canada, and is Machine Head’s first stateside headlining tour in four years.

California deathcore band Suicide Silence will make their debut on ‘The Eighth Plague’ tour beginning Jan 15. in Denver, Colo. The band released their latest studio album ‘The Black Crown’ on July 12, 2011, debuting at No. 28 on the Billboard Top 200 chart.

Darkest Hour will return for the North American run of the tour, delivering their melodic metal attack to American and Canadian audiences. The band released their seventh LP ‘The Human Romance’ in February of last year.
