Yeah, I'm a Titans fan, and yeah, I'm a glutton for punishment. So, I was as surprised, greatly, as anyone probably was regarding the debut of rookie QB Marcus Mariota in Tampa Bay on Sunday. The Tennessee Titans took the game 42-14.

You might be saying, "well the Titans were playing the Bucs," and while this is true, there's no truer statement than "a win is a win," especially in the NFL.

Mariota exceeded expectations by many, many miles tossing four touchdowns in the first half alone -- something he didn't even do at Oregon.

Kendall Wright, Delanie Walker, Harry Douglas and Bishop Sankey all got some touchdown love as the Titans scored more points in this game than they did in any other game all of last season (28).

The defense for the Titans made some nice plays, as legend Dick LeBeau is now manning the helm for the D. There's definitely still more to work on, but the foundation has been solidly set for the rest of the season.

IF this is a precursor or harbinger of things to come for the Titans, sign me up!
