Marilyn Manson is getting some help from a highly respected actor for an upcoming music video. Actor Michael Kenneth Williams captivated audiences as the shotgun-wielding Omar in The Wire and just finished up a run as Chalky White on Boardwalk Empire. Now, it looks like the 48-year-old is teaming up with Manson for the singer’s upcoming music video for “The Mephistopheles of Los Angeles.”

Both Manson and Williams are excited about the shoot, and you can check out pictures both guys posted on their Instagram accounts from the set above and below. Williams also commented, “Stay tuned … Lazarus got nothing on me!” That seems to reference the song’s lyrics, in which Manson writes, “Lazarus has got no dirt on me / And I’ll rise to every occasion. I’m the Mephistopheles of Los Angeles.” In the bible, Lazarus of Bethany is raised from the dead by Jesus. Mephistopheles is a demon character who was created by Faust in his 16th century works.

Manson’s latest video was for his song “Deep Six,” which had an unsettling, sexual and sci-fi vibe to it, which you can watch here. We can’t wait to see what he’s cooked up for “The Mephistopheles Of Los Angeles.”

Tomorrow (Mar. 28), Manson kicks off his Hell Not Hallelujah 2015 spring tour in Penticton, British Columbia. He’ll be playing in Canada and the U.S. through the middle of May, finishing up in Grand Rapids, Mich. on May 13.
