For the next two weeks, Lubbock's Marsha Sharp Freeway will be the site of many closures and delays. Here's a comprehensive list of what to expect.

Wednesday, May 17 — Paving of the eastbound MSF frontage road from Upland Avenue to 66th Street will require crews to close the frontage road east of Upland and the 66th exit ramp to traffic. The operation will also include paving eastbound Spur 327, which is also closed to traffic.

Thursday, May 18 to Saturday, May 20 — All eastbound MSF main lanes will be closed to traffic for paving. Traffic will be detoured onto the eastbound frontage road. Daytime closures only.

Monday, May 22 — Paving operations on the westbound Spur 327 main lanes and on-ramp will require traffic to be detoured onto Milwaukee Avenue and the freeway main lanes. The Spur main lanes over the Milwaukee Avenue bridge and the on-ramp to the new Spur 327 bridge will be closed to traffic.

Tuesday, May 23 — Paving operations will continue on the westbound MSF frontage road. The frontage road, from Rosa’s Café to the Spur 327 ramp will be closed.

Wednesday, May 24 to Friday, May 26 — All westbound MSF main lanes will be closed for paving. Traffic will be detoured onto the westbound frontage road. Daytime closures only.

Closures for frontage roads are scheduled from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., while main lane closures will most likely expand past 4 pm.
