It seemed like Martin Truex Jr. used the All-Star Race to really get things perfect for this week's race at Charlotte. Truex Jr. led almost every single lap on Sunday night, crossing the start/finish line in the lead spot 392 of 400 times.

Oh, and he started on the pole too.

This is the year that the #78 team really might start getting it going. They've always been fast, but have struggled putting together consistent runs. Now, they have something to build on early.

Kevin Harvick claimed the runner-up spot, as Jimmie Johnson collected third, Denny Hamlin wound up fourth and Brad Keselowski rounded out the top five.

Next week it's on to Pocono.
