Add New Hampshire to the list of victorious races for Matt Kenseth this year. A seventh registered win for Kenseth and the #20 team, as well as two in a row, mean that this team is in big time it for the Cup.

Holding a standings lead over Kyle Busch, who also had a strong running today, finishing runner-up, Kenseth now has an opened up lead, though that same lead could close with one bad outing.

That fact makes every single race that much more crucial every weekend.

Other Chase contenders finished well, others slightly worse. Five others Chase contenders finished in the top ten, including Johnson, Biffle, Earnhardt Jr., Edwards, and Truex Jr., while the another six rounded up the top 20. Kasey Kahne was the lone DNF'er this afternoon, finishing 37th.

Next week, the third Chase race, showcases the Monster Mile in Delaware.
