After 30 years, can you imagine some of the stories the members of Metallica have to tell. From the beginning in L.A., to what really happened between Kirk Hammett and Dave Mustaine, the untimely death of Cliff Burton and Napster; to name a few of the stories that we'll hopefully find out the real dirt on, in the upcoming two-volume history of Metallica "Birth School Metallica Death".

Co-writers, Paul Brannigan and Ian Winwood, have been giving total access with the band, from the studio to the sold-out shows across the world; and have conducted 70+ hours of interviews for the upcoming biography that is due in 2013 to coincide with the 30 anniversary of the release of 1983's "Kill em All'.

Why do I get the feeling that "Birth School Metallica Death" is going to give Motley Crue's The Dirt: Confession of the Worlds Most Notorious Rock Band" a run for it's money.
