Metallica Eager To Begin New Project

The Masters of Metal are looking forward to recording their next album in the upcoming year.

In a recent interview, Robert Trujillo, the band’s bassist revealed that the band has been working on a few tunes and bouncing ideas off of producer Rick Rubin. Trujillo stated that “we have…jumped off the launch pad and we’re swimming.” The band will record the new album in 2012 as a follow-up to 2008′s “Death Magnetic”. Metallica and Lou Reed will release “LULU” on November 1, 2o11, much to the chagrin of many ‘Tallica extremists. Worry not, as new, actual Metallica material will be on the way to your ears before too long…
