Mike Shinoda Writes the Score for New Indie Film “The Raid” [VIDEO]

Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda has signed on to co-write the score for a new indie flick called “The Raid.” It looks like a modern day kung-fu flick but with a lot more blood. This red-band trailer alone is pretty graphic so the movie should be nuts.

Now listen to the music for the trailer and you can definitely hear LP. I’m not sure yet if it works for the movie, but to me, it sounds like Mike just took some old LP riff that they weren’t going to use and slapped it together for this. Maybe he’s so ingrained in what the band does that it’s all he can write now. The movie is getting raves so who knows.
