Miss Hub City Hottie Desiree Markham Shines Bright in Texas
Here on FMX we have our world famous Hub City Hotties. Hub City Hotties is where we put local girls in the limelight with the help of our good friend Eric Karr at Eric Karr Photography. We’ve had some fantastic girls from the area shown through there but never have we had one this fantastic. Say hello, again, to the official Miss Hub City, Desiree Markham.
Desiree was named Miss Hub City in a recent pageant and is on her way to compete for the title of Miss Texas USA in September. She’s currently works for Texas Tech and in the fall will start studies for her Ph.D in Mass Communications.
Desiree is in training and will compete for the title of Miss Texas USA. The pageant, which is August 31st-Sept 2nd, is hopefully the first of many new titles that she will hold. The winner of Miss Texas USA then goes on to compete in the Miss USA pageant and then on the Miss Universe.

Desiree told us in an interview that she’s a big fan of the programming they have on the BBC and BBC America. She’s well educated and more than ready to take the crown of Miss Texas USA.
Next week we’ll get to know a new Hub City Hottie but this isn’t the last you’ll hear of Desiree Markham. She’s going to be the next big thing and we expect the best from her. We wish her the best in Miss Texas USA. We know she’ll do Lubbock proud.
