Vote for Miss Lubbock Jacy Etter to Be a Semi-Finalist for Miss Texas

Miss Lubbock 2015 Jacy Etter is vying for votes to compete for the title of Miss Texas in just about the funniest way possible: with the help of a ventriloquist's dummy.

Etter, who attends Lubbock Christian University, and her friend Jake want to perform onstage at the Miss Texas talent competition. And yes, that's Etter herself showing off some impressive ventriloquism skills for a shot at winning Miss Texas 2015 People's Choice.

The top two contestants that get the most votes will become the 11th and 12th semi-finalists, earning the right to compete for the title of Miss Texas July 4th. And yes, every vote costs $1, but all proceeds benefit the Miss Texas Scholarship Organization. Voting will close on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 4 p.m. CST.
