Motel 6 Robbery Continues Rising Armed Robbery Trend in Lubbock

Yet another in a rising trend of armed robberies has been reported in Lubbock.

Thursday, October 29, around 8 p.m. an armed suspect robbed the front desk of the Motel 6 on 66th Street at I-27.

The suspect, described by Lubbock police as a black man wearing a black, zip-up hoodie, and a black and white bandana covering his face, threatened a clerk with a handgun, stole cash and fled before officers arrived.
