This past Friday myself and Danielle made our way down to Austin for The Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival and it was everything I expected and more!

I have never been to a festival like this before and I was very excited to see most of my favorite bands. I am talking Amon Amarth, Job For a Cowboy, FFDP, Born Of Osiris, Battlecross and my brothers in Motionless In White.

Like I said I have never been to a Festival like this and I really didn't know what to expect. There was vending everywhere and there was heavy metal at every turn. You could of literally meet any band you wanted to at this festival. They had signing tents everywhere and as long as you could tell time you could meet and band you wanted to!

I was really excited to see Born Of Osiris and Motionless In White which I got to see both of them live and they were both amazing despite the nasty Austin heat.

When I finally made my way to what would be the side of the stage to check out Motionless In White, I was very stoked to just a get finger point from front man Chris Motionless but what was to follow I don't have any words.

I talked to Chris a little bit later and he said, "Man I thought that was you but I wanted to make sure and when I knew it was you I had to dedicate "America" to you."

What makes Motionless In White's track "America" special for myself and MIW is that Lubbock's Rock Station was the very first station to play the track in rotation and that is a big deal for a band like Motionless In White that play heavy music. And the cherry on top is that they haven't forgot the love that Lubbock's Rock Station has given them and they show equal love straight back!

Check out the video of Chris Motionless of Motionless In White giving me a shout out a the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival.

Be sure to check out Motionless In White when they are in town on October 26th for The FMX Freakfest!
