After a Metallica show in 2009 at John Paul Jones Arena, Virginia Tech student Morgan Harrington went missing and was later found dead in January of 2010, with a killer still unidentified. Metallica is teaming up with Virginia Tech by making shirts to help bring money into the Morgan Harrington Scholarship Fund.

The printed shirts are for Virginia Tech's football team with the trademark Metallica lettering spelling out "Enter Sandman" on the front and "Jump, VT, Jump" on the back.

The shirts will be sold the rest of this year and more than likely through the next few years in support of the fund.

So far, the tally is around $17,000 made from the shirts, which is awesome. Hopefully people continue to buy the shirts, because after all, this a great cause put together by VT and Metallica.
