There's some sad news coming out of the Metallica camp, as the band's drummer, Lars Ulrich, recently revealed that the band will probably use up all of this year recording the album, meaning the new album won't be here until next year.

Obviously, the band wants the album to be as good as possible, which means that the Bay Area Bashers are probably going to take their time to make sure exactly what they want to promote on the album will come out.

As far as any other details surrounding the album, the band hasn't really said much, besides the fact that the studio will be a mainstay for them very soon.

We'll give you more when we get more.
