Canadian rockers Rush head into the studio to record their 20th album.According to Rush front man Geddy Lee, the band has started writing, and should have the follow-up to their 2007 release "Snakes and Arrows" wrapped up by Christmas. Lee says he's happy with the progress of the new material, and the plan is to have it mixed by the winter of 2012 for a drop-date sometime in the spring of 2012.

Lee states that the band is at the top of their game, and playing the best they have ever played as a live band; which says a lot for a band that released their first single, a cover of the Buddy Holly tune "Not Fade Away" in 1973. Look for a tour in support of the new cd in the summer or early fall.
