The boys from Texas have yet another lead singer, and they're ready to show off some of their new tunes this April.

The next album from Drowning Pool is entitled "Resilience" and will be released on April 9.

After the departure of Ryan McCombs in 2011, the band seemed like they were about to be finished.

The band then decided to add local vocalist Jasen Moreno to front the band, as Moreno has been in the Texas music scene throughout the '90's.

Guitarist C.J. Pierce discussed how much he's embraced the addition of Moreno, and how much he felt the band has improved thanks to his arrival.

Pierce shared with Pulse of the Radio that he feels Moreno has "been by far the most respectful guy we've worked with since, you know, Dave 's passing, and it's been nothing but awesome. We've written more songs with him in this past year than I think we've ever written in our whole career."

We'll see just how the new music sounds when it hits the airwaves on April 9.
