It has finally returned, folks. It's back to football season, and that is a beautiful, beautiful thing. The opening week certainly disappoint. Dropkicks, overtime, and yards upon yards were all present in week 1. Get the full recap here.

We'll kick it all off with the Thursday night game, which saw the Seattle Seahawks simply smothering Green Bay 36-16 in Seattle.

Sunday held all kinds of great games. We saw Buffalo take down Chicago in OT 23-20 and the Falcons edge the Saints in OT 37-34. The Steelers couldn't hold off the Cleveland Browns all afternoon, but held on to claim a 30-27 last-second victory. The Dolphins simply shocked New England and took down the Pats 33-20 in Miami, and Houston didn't have a problem putting away Washington 17-6.

The Jaguars jumped out to an early 17-0 lead but Foles and Co. came back strong for the Eagles in the second half, scoring 34 unanswered to win 34-17. The Jets held off a stingy Oakland Raiders squad, taking the W 19-14. The Bengals used a late, acrobatic touchdown from AJ Green to steal a home win from the Baltimore Ravens. Final there was 23-16 Cincy.

The Vikings made St. Louis look silly at home, shocking the wounded Rams 34-6. My Tennessee Titans looked surprisingly great in Kansas City, as they stunned the Chiefs by 16; final in KC: 26-10.

Among the late games, the Panthers simply outran, out-hustled, and downright outplayed the Bucs in Tampa, winning 20-14, and of course you all saw the Cowboys get pummeled at Jerryworld by the Niners 28-17.

Sunday night was full of fireworks, as Peyton Manning and Andrew Luck had a shootout, though Manning simply had more ammo. Denver took the win from the Colts 31-24. On Monday night, the Lions looked scary good on that home Detroit turf, dismantling the New York Giant defense, securing a 35-14 victory. The nightcap game in Arizona featured the San Diego Chargers and the home team Cardinals. Arizona came from 11 down in the fourth quarter to stun the Chargers 18-17.

That was just week 1, y'all! We still have 16 to go, and it all starts again on Thursday night with the Steelers visiting the Ravens.

Until next week, NFL fans...
