I am absolutely hooked on this mini documentary entitled "NOLA: Life, Death, & Heavy Blues From The Bayou" and the 2nd episode features Mike Williams lead vocalist of Eyehategod, where he talks about his drug abuse, the loss of a band mate and how Hurricane Katrina effected NOLA.

I have watched the the 1st and 2nd episode several times and I am just in awe of this music scene, this genre that was created in the bayou that is known as "sludge."

The more that I dive into these episodes I learn more and more from some of my favorite musicians. I mean Hurricane Katrina was a terrible storm and that is the least I can say, but listening to the people that lived it, experienced it and how it effected their life and music is amazing to me.
