Obama Looks Out For The Bees

I can't even wait until the conservatives get a hold of this one.  The President has put together a task force to take on the issue of "rapidly diminishing honey bees and other pollinators". Facts are facts kids, if the bees and other insects don't pollinate plants, we don't have stuff to eat.

Here's another "fact".  You've probably heard the quote from Einstein saying that if all of the honeybees die out then man would only have four years left.  Well, don't use that quote if you choose to defend the honeybees, because Einstein never said that.  Even if he did, he was a physicist not a bug guy so he'd hardly be an expert.  The fact is, we attribute some stuff to really smart people so everyone will pay attention. In this particular equation, there's no need to get Einstein involved.  Plants need bees as much as water.  It's how they have the plant sex. Bees are their marriage counselors.  If the bees don't travel from male plant to female plant or vice versa, you get no baby plants.  You just don't need Einstein to figure that out, basic sixth grade science will do.

I'm sure we'll get some push back from the "anti" crowd claiming that one issue or another is more important than "the bees", but it just shows ignorance and a lack of understanding.  There are NO politics if we're all starving to death.
