There have been rumors that Pearl Jam are planning to announce a new leg of tour dates for some time and during a Twitter chat Friday (Dec. 11), the band's manager Kelly Curtis confirmed that something will be announced shortly.

Curtis and bassist Jeff Ament fielded fan questions on Twitter, during which the manager stated, "We will be announcing tour dates the first part of the year." A rumored itinerary posted on the band's message boards suggested that the group was eyeing an April-May run, though that itinerary has yet to be confirmed. As for whether or not the recent terror attacks would affect the band's touring, Curtis added, "No, music prevails everywhere."

A few other nuggets came out of the chat. Curtis responded to a question about whether the band was planning anything special for their 25th anniversary or the 25th anniversary of the Ten album. "Yes, can't say anything yet," revealed the manager. He also revealed that the band members are "always in and out of the studio and constantly writing," though Ament later revealed that there was nothing recorded as of yet for their next album.

There were also a few questions about politics, with one fan asking if Pearl Jam was already planning "Trumpleaguer" targeting Donald Trump, Ament responded, "Born on home plate, thinks he got a triple." Digging into politics a little more, Ament was asked by one fan about the disappointing state of the current candidates to which he replied, "It is depressing."
