Plaxico Burress Dodges A Bullet

If you are not a football fan you probably remember Plaxico Burress more what what he has done off the field rather than on. On November 28, 2008 Burress was at a nightclub in Manhattan with a fellow player. Long story short, someone had a gun, police were involved, and as Burress attempted to hide the gun, he shot himself in the leg.

Fast forward, as in 125 miles an hour fast, to 2012, and Burress is in the news again for getting out of a speeding ticket for going 70 miles an hour over the posted speed limit.

It seems his attorney was able to get the ticket dismissedon a technicality thanks to a careless cop who cited the ex football player for the wrong thing on the ticket and went back and corrected it on the original.

Talk about a dude with some luck, wonder if I can get him to buy me a lottery ticket...
