Poets Come Together This Saturday For Change Day
Poets from around the globe will come together this weekend for 100 Thousand Poets for Change Day.
Poets, musicians, performing artist, mimes, photographers and dancers of the Lubbock Poetry Movement will gather this Saturday to promote social, political change and environmental issues.
All donations from this event will help out the soup kitchen, emergency food pantry, medical and dental services and clothing for the clothing closet.
The event will feature fire dancing, art auction, poetry reading, music and comedy to help out Impact Lubbock.
Join the Lubbock Poetry Movement this Saturday from 6-10 p.m. at Tornado Gallery, 1822 Buddy Holly Ave.
