Pop Evil will hit the ground running in 2017, having just announced dates for the "Rock 'N Roll Now Tour: Right Now." The trek gets underway Jan. 10 in Louisville, Ky., and continues through Feb. 24 in Detroit.

The band will be taking out Red Sun Rising and Badflower on the run. Pop Evil vocalist Leigh Kakaty says of the trek, "What an exciting time to announce a full headline tour across the states as we launch our final single off UP -- 'If Only for Now.' It’s no secret, as a 'rock' musician this is a very difficult era to survive in. That’s why we take it very seriously to appreciate what is happening RIGHT NOW by living in the moment. We are not taking success for granted and will continue to waive the Rock ’N' Roll Flag! It's time for the ROCK community to come together to spread the awareness that Rock N Roll is a force to be reckoned with. Come join us this January as we embark on our Rock ’N' Roll quest across the States on the 'Rock ’N' Roll Now Tour: Right Now!'"

As stated, Pop Evil have toured extensively on the UP album. The disc has yielded the singles "Footsteps," "Ways to Get High" and "Take It All," with "If Only for Now" arriving to coincide with the upcoming trek. Meanwhile, Red Sun Rising have made a mark with their Polyester Zeal album, which generated the singles "The Otherside" and "Emotionless," while their current single "Amnesia" is currently climbing the charts. Openers Badflower made some waves with their 2015 single "Soap" and will be issuing their first EP this winter via John Varvatos / Republic Records.

There will be a Blabbermouth pre-sale starting today (Oct. 18) at 10AM through Monday, Oct. 24 at 9:59 local time in all markets. Simply use the password "Blabbermouth." Normal Ticketmaster fees resume on Monday, Oct. 24. Head here for ticketing information.
